Ihop - Albemarle County

Came in to see there's no host/hostess, and there were already a couple of other people waiting in line. It was not busy at all, and there were times when servers would walk by and not greet us or grab someone to get us seated. Waited for about 25 min before I headed out to go to other restaurants.

What can you say about an IHOP? They're all about the same, so you get what you expect. That's kind of relief as it's good to know what you're going to get and pay for.

We have a group of ladies that use to go here all the time. We stopped because the service was bad and sometimes it would take up to an hour to get our order. Today we walked in and got seated. Our waitress who was Laura came and took our order and we were served in less than 15 minutes. She checked on us often and got us refills on our drinks. It was an excellent visit. I haven't been to this location in a year. The service is horrible. They take forever to seat you. When we were finally seated we waited a really long time for our order to be taken . The food was ok. The restaurant itself is disgusting. The floors look they haven't been cleaned since the place was built. It needs a total renovation. Also everyone needs to be fired and hire people who really want to work....

I ordered the girl scout cookie pancake special as noted on the card on the table that said 4 girl scout cookie pancakes that I could make a meal adding 2 eggs, and 2 of either sausage or bacon. I received 2 pancakes, eggs, 1 sausage and 1 strip of bacon, and hash browns. The pancakes did not look at all like the picture...not even close, and I didn't order or want the hash browns. I was told that the combo comes with 2 pancakes and hash browns. The card on the table specifically said, the 4 pancakes as a combo come with eggs, sausage bacon. The waitress talked to the manager who said combos come with 2 pancakes and hash browns. It made no difference what the table add said. We also got no drink refills and waited about an hour to get food. I won't be going back there again.
