La Roca - Albany

Food was good the service was excellent but when getting the bill I noticed a charge for using a card. Was not posted ahead of time that a charge would be added for using a debit card. I normally do not carry large amounts of cash on me and even though I have been to this place to dine several times before I will not be returning.

We come to La Roca often and really love their food! Their chile relleno burrito is my favorite, and I appreciate that they have several vegetarian options. The one thing I've tried that was not good at all was their huevos rancheros it was soggy and lacked much flavor. But everything else has been wonderful! Service is usually good and it has a fun atmosphere.

Definitely pricey wait til payday so you can tip your waitress appropriately lol. But cost aside, the meat was seared spiced and melt in your mouth tender and only made better by the stout and impeccably flavored margaritas. (My honey ordered 3 and I ended up driving home. The platters and drinks were an absolute pair of perfection. Hats off!

Food is always great. Reasonable prices and the services outstanding. Bright colorful restaurant.
