Alawa Fish and Chips

Probably my favorite fish chips in Darwin I don't come here very often, but every time I'm eating here, it's really good Battered Lachs and Potato Cakes yum The place is run by Indians so that you also get currys etc. But I'm gonna stick to Fish Chips

Tasty, loved the different recording on the dough. Not only the usual super fat thick dough. General amount of delicious frits also.

The place is not much to see, but the food was good, I have some Barra that they fresh and the cup of Calamari and chips that have a decent size.. They didn't have a few articles on the menu when I was there like Sollops and wedges, but the lady was very kind to explain this to me.

Good place, formerly this afternoon visited some fish and chips for the first time. Price was reasonable, taste good, glad to have a chat with Anthony. Very friendly guy, loves talking to customers, friendly attitude. Overall, I am satisfied. Have seen the sign for the last few years, got no chance to visit. Bought fish and chips with chicken nuggets - my children loved them. Come back soon. Best Anthony :

If you are a connoisseur of old style fish and chip shops with a late 70s early 80s decor, then Alawa Fish Chips is your kind of place. I had the fish which was snapper and chips. It was fine, but the batter was not fully cooked through. It needed a couple of more minutes in the deep fryer. Price was cheap for Darwin however. Good for the budget conscious. Will try again.
