Pizzeria Italia - ALASSIO

Not fancy just good food served efficiently. We like to visit for both lunch and dinner when in Alassio. Pizza is great, veal Milanese is exactly as it should be and pastas simple and tasty. Staff family are welcoming and prices are fair.

Very nice to eat beside the sand on the beach , the breeze that comes from the sea , the sun , the silence….. All positive things that make you accept to pay 15,00€ for a dish of mussels and 15,00€ a slice of grilled fish

We have been there few times, in summer and in winter... Pizzeria Italia is a busy, crowded, sometimes noisy, relatively good Italian restaurant, close to the sea, in a very nice spot of the lovely Alassio. We have had their pizzas here about three times. They 're OK but not as impressive as some reviews here claim, and definitely not worth the price. The pizza simply is not tasty enough, and the mozzarella cheese and the tomato sauce are used extremely sparingly. Other times we tried their farinata (type of thin, crêpe of chickpea flour) and the Roman dish 'tonnarelli cacio e pepe ', whose ingredients are very simple and include only black pepper and pecorino Romano cheese., That time we went there with two other people and none of us were impressed. We all got pasta dishes and found all 3 of them to be quite bland, almost tasteless: the dishes overall were lackluster. We did not like their desserts, we tried the cheesecake and another one, they had a strange taste and were not fresh, there was something wrong with them. We didn 't order them anymore after that time. Our lady friend needed to go to the restroom and when she was back, she showed us all her big disappointment, apparently it was not clean. Service was friendly, but slow and not professional. Prices were reasonable. We wouldn’t suggest it to our friends.

Bel posto tranquillo. Ottimo personale. Buon vino e bei piatti. Abbiamo fatto una deliziosa cena.
