Jack's Scampi - ALASSIO

In 66 years of eating I can say that this is the worst meal I can remember. we arrived in alassio about 14.00 clock, and instead of risking that the kitchens were closed, we sat in this restaurant. big mistake. we had traveled 90...minutes to visit this village and had expected a basic but well cooked meal. my wife ordered frito misto and I ordered seafood risotto. When my “risk” arrived, it was made with long defenses. the longustine was only the head without ****, the majority of the muscheln were empty and the garnelen were a strange texture. I understand that most restaurants are using frozen seafood, but at least the products are properly defrosted before they are served. my wife tried a piece calamari and left it. the filled water was excellent. I asked about the bill and although the nice young waiter could see that we both left teller, and my wife, who speaks Italian, explained how bad the meals were, we received € 3 extra in my change. I doubt it was a offer, but probably they had no change. they don't have a cook. it is insignificant what the cost, Italian cuisine is not difficult. they just need good products. this “restaurant “ should think new as it is very bad. While we waited for the “food” to arrive, we noticed a dame running around the restaurant that did not seem very happy. I also had time, much time to take care of travel advisers for comments to this facility. too late!

We stopped here for lunch with our family. There were no other guests. We ordered a hamburger, turned out to be just a piece of meat with no bread, dressing or veggies, just fries. One ordered spagetti carbonara which was just pasta swimming in a...sauce of butter and cooked ham. The staff doesn’t speak english at all and she also picked her nose and smelled really bad.

Good food, kind staff. structure to improve. longer waiting times

I ate very well I took the linguine to the pesto and my husband carbonara and fried fish. good advice
