For decades there has been artistry in the kitchen and treasure in the wine cellar. The service is congenial and warm, if not perfectly polished. The menu evolves, but seafood is always showcased with panache. Dining on the patio, when weather permits, adds an additional level of pleasure. This is the place for discerning diners, special occasions, and just to celebrate that you know the difference between very good and excellent. Of course, this culinary level merits a steep price, not so much for profit taking but for the premium ingredients. It is expensive, but worth it. I'm sure the profit margin is modest. Theirs is a labor of love and rare talent. Fortunately, many who appreciate this craft are in the know.
We loved this restaurant! The food was excellent. Tuna with soya, and the linguine morelli all’ asti especially. Our waiter were helpful, charming and made us feel warm welcomed. The atmosphere, the food and service was the best during our time in Italy this visit. We would love to come back. If in Alassio; this is magical!
Although we ate very well anywhere in Alassio, this restaurant won our heart and our senses....! After the first dinner, we booked a second time in the week as we found it extraordinary and not second to most of the Michelin star restaurants we have been. The service is outstanding and warm, the owner goes around the the tables to advise clients. We took both evening their menu degustation which change every day, I have never seen something similar in any restaurant of the world. Even the pricing changed based on the menu, one evening we paid 60€ per person, the second one we paid 65€, I assume based on the ingredients used for the 4 dishes (2 entree, 1 primo and 1 secondo . All of them were outstanding and most of them also quite innovative, in principle they were all based on fish and sea food with local vegetables.
The place to go if you like to taste the best fish in town! The “bollito misto di pesce” steam cooked seafood is magnificent. It is a plate with octopus, lobster, shrimps, langoustine and fresh fish. The service is excellent. The price is rightfully high due to the quality of the ingredients. Surely worth a visit!!!
