The Wine Host Pam W was excellent knowledgable (of both Dashe Cellers and the wine industry) and friendly one of our best wine tasting experiences. Great location in Alameda we have visited Napa and Sonoma many times this winery and tasting experience was on par with our favorite visits to the North. If you live in the Bay Area, save the drive and taste local!
Great view and knowledgeable and friendly staff who were able to give great recommendations and insIght to their selections of wines.
Incredible view. Sometimes there will be a food truck. Other times not. You are welcome to bring your own food. It's a great location to grab some wine and kick back and relax on the outside patio area.
A true hidden gem in Alameda! A great way to enjoy good wine made on location here in the Bay while enjoying a phenomenal view of San Francisco and the water. I have visited 4 times now and I'm coming back for more.Their wine is great! I have done 2 tastings and have bought multiple bottles of reds and whites to take home and have loved each one! My personal surprise favorite this summer was their 2018 Grenache but they have so much good variety. You can do a tasting for about $25 each person OR for a $10 corkage fee per visit, you can totally have them open up a bottle or more for you on the spot, enjoy them at your leisure and take the rest home. The staff team is wonderful. I have now spoken with at least 6 staff members in my visits and they have all been kind, knowledgeable and very attentive to their guests. I am not a wine club member and they make me feel like I am.The location is gorgeous inside and out. Theres no bad seat in the house. Outside is a beautiful patio with shaded tables and plenty of space. Inside is the wine bar with the great open view of all the wine barrels resting while you sip. The outdoor area is a great space if you have kids and it is also pet friendly. We brought our kids and our dog on a Sunday and were able to enjoy without worrying about making arrangements for them. You can bring outside food or you can order from different vendors they have on Saturdays and Sundays.
