Bidra med feedbackA little pricey, but I think it's one of the best in the area.. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5
Spectacular venue and truly appreciable place, in the company of an enveloping and peaceful atmosphere and above all exquisite dishes. We met the chef in person, a truly very good and talented boy. Very welcoming and pleasant staff. Definitely going back in the future. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our visit was early in the season and we were unlucky with the weather and it meant that we had to dine inside and that really is not what this place is about. The cooking method that they were showing us is a different type of BBQ. All carried out in old rowing boat that is full of sand to create a fire pit and the food is then presented to the fire on vertical skewers that the chef rotates by hand. Nice food and under different circumstance I am sure a nice venue to dine in, unfortunately the internal dining area is more of a breakfast room than a restaurant, so that took the edge off a bit for us. I think this was early days for the people running Savarca and the service was chaotic and getting a cup of coffee at the end of the meal took 20 minutes and they were cold when they arrived and had to be sent back...To be microwaved ! Would we go back ? Yes I think we would, to see if they are over the early problems and to try the different style of food they offer. Nice people, trying hard, with a different type of food.
A new take on a barbecue: logs are stacked on a bed of sand up against a metal 'sail ' in a boat out on the terrace and lit at around midday so that by the evening there is a glowing fire. Your choice of meat or fish is threaded on large skewers that are placed upright in the sand up against the fire. The result is really tasty we had pork one night (with a baked potato) and delicious huge prawns another time. This was quite unique in my experience and well worth trying. Not expensive either. There are other more conventional options on the menu which are also good: we tried these on an evening when the fire was rained off. Most diners seemed to be staying in the Paradis Blau, but there is a narrow stairway up to the restaurant from the beach road for other visitors. There is a great view across the cove, too, so it 's quite a romantic spot.
We tried this place couple of days ago and we really liked it. Great place, great food, great service We will come back for sure
