La Palette - Alaior

Had evening dinner here in Sept 2023. And what a great experience. Location is out of the way and it can get busy when the Cave bar empties out but we booked a table and had a lovely view of the sunset. Both starters and main courses were superb. Cannot fault it. Staff were great, very on point and anything you wanted, they got for you. The Sangria is truly lovely. Compared to the other high end restaurant local to this? The value was better. Food was as good but at nearly £25 cheaper for an equivalent meal cannot be ignored. We would revisit again for certain. Many thanks to La Palette for a special experience.

Food was nice but staff are peculiar. We turned up to be told we could have a table but would only be served once 3 other tables had ordered (there were only 7 tables filled at the time). We were “allowed” to order an hour after sitting down. There was only one waitress and she eventually warmed up but wasn’t the friendliest. We were also told we couldn’t make a reservation ?!

We visited La Palette twice in July, we had our anniversary diner there and went back later in the month for a lunch with family. We had great food and a lovely experience both times and would recommend a visit. They have had more staff here in previous years and we think the negative reviews probably reflect that difference. Still a lovely place to go and enjoy the food and surroundings. Price is a little bit more than you would pay in the middle of Cala en Porter, but it is worth the difference.

Muy buena atención al servicio de los camareros. ordenamos croquetas, ensalada rusa y chipirones. todo muy rico y a precios contenidos. postre que ordenamos la crema catalana. hecho en casa y muy bueno. está muy bien en la terraza. ideal para apoyar el calor de la cola para entrar en la cueva.

Comimos después de salir de la cala porque era más práctico, y era una buena elección. Tomamos un brindis de sobra con miel, nueces de queso de cabra y pasas, espinacas tortellini y espagueti boloñeso. todo muy bueno y en buenas cantidades. el precio es cierto que es algo más caro que en otro lugar, pero también está en un buen lugar, con vistas.
