This restaurant deserves its position as number 1 in Gainesville. They are very consistent with taste and presentation. The Tom yum soup is my favorite and my wife always order the crispy eggplant. I can also recommend their Thai fried rice, as well as the duck plate. I recommend it

This is the exact essence of a top notch Thai restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere, Asian/Thai decor, and soft music. Staff was friendly, attentive and courteous. The food was very good. The dishes offered were in line with typical well organized Thai Restaurants. Their duck was very good and beef was flavorful and tender. Spicing ranged from Mild to Thai Hot. Best of all the prices were reasonable!

It used to be one of my favorite places. Lately portions are smaller and the food was not as fresh/sauces not as pure.

Bangkok Square is the best Thai restaurant in Gainesville hands down. it has good vibe, it is clean, the service is good and the most important the food is delicious.

I ordered the Grouper and seafood to go...boy was I surprised when I finally opened it. SWAI is what I got, but paid for Grouper. I've cooked enough Swai in my life to know what it looks like....I didn't get Grouper... I had raved about how good this place was, but now I'm highly pissed!!passed!!! $32+ for some damned Swai that I could have purchased 4 bags at Walmart for that price. The only Reason why I gave it more than 1 star is because the food I ate in the restaurant was good...
