Mr. Hero - Akron

I used doordash to purchase this Mr. Hero sandwich and I clearly asked for no mushrooms. It’s on the ticket that they printed! My sandwich was covered in mushrooms. I am absolutely disappointed because I love Mr. Hero and usually have no problems out of them. Such an unfortunate experience for me. This location will not be getting anymore service from me!

I visited 11/5/23. I order a 10 cheeseburger. I waited for sandwich to be made and still ended up with cold meat. How was that possible ? it's the reason I went there in first place. HOT, FRESHLY MADE. I didn't realize it til I got home. I should of checked before I left. So disappointed. REMIND u I already knew how much the sandwich cost, plus it's on the sign And the the worker still tried to over charge me. I can tell the place is being ran by a new owner..WHEW!! it used to be respectable place. I hope this don't continue ?

I haven't had Mr. Hero in over 30 years I still love their food

Always consistent in serving a big steak sandwich. This place NEVER will leave mixed with my cheese steak through grilled trade unions! So many Mr. Hero's cooks in other places do not scratch from the grill between orders and you get the last orders mixed in your sandwich! The staff is always friendly and efficient.

The food here is great. There are plenty of options on the menu from sandwiches to sides. It's all fast food type options, of course. The workers are nice. They are quick and efficient, which is good because the parking lot is a little tight and doesn't really allow for loitering. I've never had an issue with the quality or experience here. I recommend it if you want something other than a burger.
