Westney's Restaurant and Bar - Ajax

I get it’s Mother’s Day. But there was no one to greet ou at the door..we waited for 10 mites at the door asked 2x how many. We were passed by so many times. Finally sat. Got us our breakfast drinks but over 20 minutes am no one took our order. The waitress looked so crabby. The place was so unorganized. The cooks were pushing the food out and the waitresses didn’t even know where the food went. This place has lasted in this spot the longest and it’s not their first Mother’s Day. You’d think they’d be way more prepared. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! B

WELL one of my favorite restaurants just went down the tubes!!! Went to Westney for lunch schnitzel special it was so bad I walked out Ieven asked if ownership had changed hands!!! So very disappointed what happened and service is not like it use to be!!! Even told people who came in to stay away from schnitzel!!!!! CRAZYBEAR OUT

We have dined at this restaurant numerous times and our recent visits have been outstanding! The food is delicious and the prices are great. There is a mature female server who is incredibly efficient, organized, and impressive! She is always on the move, never slowing down. The menu offers a diverse selection to cater to all tastes. This is our favorite go-to place.

A nice relaxing bicycle ride along the Ajax waterfront ended with some Wings and Beer at Westney's Restaurant and Bar. The Dry Cajun Wings were very crispy but I would have liked a little more flavour (seasoning). It was, however, a pretty good deal at half price, every Monday. This was my first visit to this establishment. The service was good and they have some pretty good daily specials. I'll have to come back to explore their offerings. This was another trial of the camera in the Google Pixel 6 Pro, shot as JPEG. The images are nice and crisp, as were the wings!

Food is ok, however several times there was an obnoxious, foul-mouthed scotsman ruining it for everyone. Several patrons including myself asked him to tone it down as there were children there. As soon as I got back to my seat the guys swears even louder as in defiance. Owner doesn't seem to care. I will not be back.
