Lavault - Aix-en-Provence

No more there so can be delted from Tripadvisor. Reaaly a pity since it was one of the best places in Aix.

The food was good, but uninspired. Scallop starter was a bit bland, but scallops cooked well. The beef was a little tough, and was overcooked, I requested medium rare. The foil gras was very good. Am amuse bouche, was lime a small salmon salad sandwich, my mouth was not amused.. The service was gracious, very fairly priced, but better choices in Aix en Provence.

Food was good, but nothing special. Pretty much , just standard fare. Service was good. The dining room was clean, but slightly warn and uninspired. The server was very efficient and accomdating.

This was a lovely eating establishment. The wait staff extremely friendly and courteous. We had a great bottle of wine, and I ordered Shrimp Risotto, my fiancé had the lamb, it was superb. We had a very special night out with another couple and this was perfect.
