Menchie's Frozen Yogurt - Airdrie

This was my first time visiting Menchie's. I didn't realize that it is completely self serve and that they weigh your bowl after and that's you pay by weight...it adds up quickly! Tons of delicious flavors and they let you sample them first, which is nice. So many amazing toppings too!

We always call to find out what flavors there are. It would be nice if the local FB page could advise each day which flavors are there. Clean and everything is organized well though, which is nice.

I'm not huge on this place (but of course kids are!) Personally I don't even like the frozen yogurt. I prefer the taste of Yogen Fruz but to each their own. Our daughter loves this place and mixing various frozen yogurt flavors and then putting on toppings. I do like you can sample the flavors first with the tiny sample cups.It gets a bit nuts in the summer and when it's busy there is likely nowhere to sit inside and the toppings may get messy as every goes through the assembly line buffet style. Def expensive! If you are just having yogurt you are ok. But where they make their money is on those toppings as the dessert is priced by weight so kids load up on the goodies and you are paying big time for a crazy treat. But again...maybe I have to be a kid! I don't choose to go here personally but for a treat for my kids, sure.

Airdrie Menchie's is consistently good. The serving and dining areas are clean. The products are tasty and fresh. The parking lot is usually crowded but spots are available. The last time I was in, I watched the teenage staff give products away to their friends... a bit frustrating to witness but I couldn't find a way to connect to the store's manager online. Another customer confronted them directly but the staff shrugged it off and then giggled when she turned around. That was off putting. Regardless, we'll be back.

Our 5 year old had her birthday party here with 10 of her friends, it was great. The staff was awesome and took care of everything. Her party included pizza, drinks, games, decorations, party favours and of course frozen yogurt. I did nothing but show up. The kids loved it. I would do it again and recommend it to anyone.
