Harvey's Airdrie

I have visited this restaurant twice in the past few weeks while struggling to wrangle my under 1-year-old baby. The owner personally brought my food to my table when he saw I was having a hard time with my fussy child. The meal was freshly made and delicious, with just the right amount of toppings that were not wilting like at other places I have been to. I will definitely be returning!

I had never been to this particular Harvey's location before, and it had been years since I last visited a Harvey's. The service was excellent and the food was good, though nothing extraordinary - still, it was nice to be able to customize our meals. We decided to try the deep fried pickles, but unfortunately we were disappointed with them.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday, June 13th. The woman at the counter was very strange, she gave me a strange look as if I were some sort of creature. She didn't even smile. I ordered three combo meals - one vegetarian and two with chicken. However, they gave me two vegetarian meals instead and the food was cold. We ended up throwing it out. Additionally, the prices were high and we had to wait for half an hour for our cold and disappointing meal. I would rather drive an hour to Red Harvey's. The woman who was rude was an Indian working at the window.

I am not a fan of the concept of a vegetarian burger. I don't understand who they are trying to please. I don't think it's necessary to cater to those on the left who probably wouldn't eat here anyway. This will make me less likely to dine here.

Tonight I had dinner with my family at this restaurant. The server seemed to be using toppings from her own refrigerator. My wife had to ask three times for extra lettuce on her burger, and my son requested black olives on his fish burger but they were added two at a time. The oil they cooked in seemed old and caused our food to taste burnt and unpleasant. When I mentioned this to the server, she shrugged it off and said it was fine. No one was wearing name tags, so I couldn't even speak to a manager about our experience. I used to enjoy coming here, but after spending $40 tonight, I am very disappointed and unsure if I will return.
