Bidra med feedbackI was looking for a place for boba drinks and was happy to see Teapresso Bar in Aiea across of Bed, Bath, Bodyworks. I usually order a passion tea drink with large boba at other shops, but wanted to try something different. I decided to get the Thai Tea with large boba and was not disappointed. The flavor of the Thai Tea was on point, not too sweet and not too bland. I've been to other boba shops and was disapponted because the flavor for tea did not taste to well. The shop in itself was nice and clean and it the design was cute. The three employees there friendly and the service was very quick. I also liked that they also had ice cream available with different add-ons and also offer different straws for sale on the counter. If you're looking for a good boba place, this is your spot.
I was last in Oahu pre-covid, and was ecstatic to find that Teapresso now has locations all over the island! The hubby stopped at Kehau's next door to pick up our dinner and called me excitedly to tell me that Teapresso is now there too! However, after getting my regular boba drink (either Teapresso MT or oolong MT w/boba) at 3 different locations, I was sad to find that the quality just isn't there anymore. So disappointing! Perhaps it's being franchised now. Hubby said the worker was confused when he ordered the drink hot, and didn't know what he meant. The hot oolong MT here tasted a bit bitter, and boba was on the harder side. And their straws are paper--the kind of paper where you taste paper with each sip and kind of disintegrates soon into your drink. Unfortunately I didn't have my stainless steel straw with me and didn't realize it was paper until after the hubby brought it back, otherwise he would have purchased a stainless steel one from them for a couple dollars more. The other locations I tried during this vacay have compostable straws that have the feel and durability of plastic. Overall not horrible if you're craving boba, but I'd look for another spot in the future.
Plenty of workers, fast service and great location. They also have a lot of different drinks and boba/jellies to choose from. Most definitely would recommend.
How did I not know this location was here since December of last year!? I'm so happy that we came upon this location while picking up dinner from Kehau's Kitchen this week. Mt husband had a BOGO coupon for his birthday from the app and we were told that the Wahiawa and Mililani locations didn't honor it... go figure. I was so pleased when Jazz told me that she could honor it. This location was completely empty when we arrived on a Wednesday evening around 6pm. Jazz and Shawna were the only two working and were both pleasant and cheerful. The menu was a little different from the Mililani location which is the one we frequent and I asked if they could make me a Hojicha milk tea 50% sweet with custard since it wasn't on the menu and they did! My husband ordered his favorite spicy li hing mui pineapple slush. He said it was a little too icy and not very sweet as normal. I told him to go back in and ask them to add extra sweetness for him but he wouldn't. My drink was as good as it normally is, the only difference I noticed is that the custard wasn't as flavorful. I know that Teapresso is a franchise so each location does vary on suppliers. Jazz and Shawna made my night with their up beat friendly attitudes and for this reason I would come back.
So happy this place opened up in Aiea! Workers were friendly and it's cute inside. I've never tried Teaspresso before so I ordered a Honeydew smoothie with lychee jelly. Great flavor and consistency which is so important when it comes to smoothies. Price came out to over $7 which I felt was steep but I think that's the going rate nowadays. I'll be back again... this parking lot gets crowded, though, depending on what time of day it is. Lots of take out spots and 7-11 is right there. I'll be back again to try some other drinks! They have homemade icecream, too!
