I just love this place while everyone else change.golden skillet has stayed the same and in thin case it's a very good thing.best chicken place in town

The chicken is delicious, but the sweet potato pie is absolutely superb! I really enjoy taking a relaxing drive from Virginia to North Carolina to visit my dad's hometown of Ahoskie, and I always make sure to stop by GS. It's definitely worth the trip!

I went back home and had to stop by the restaurant. The perch was absolutely delicious! I really love it when the perch is fried to a crispy finish.
