The place is incredibly silent and aparted, you wouldn't say you are where you actually are, encapsulated between tons of factories and a very busy highway. The location is in a former farmhouse, dating from the 18th century and totally refurbished, and making for a very nice stage for an informal as well as for a more elegant dinner. No unpleasant buildings in sight, no loud noise. Nice garden in front of the main building. Sophisticated recipes from Lombardy, as well as very good meat courses from the Italian tradition. Very good everything, including desserts. Portions are of course generous. The service was extremely slow, at least during week days the place wasn't crowded, whereas I guess it will be on week ends, as they have also an open air bar with music. There was only one waiter. Not much enthusiastic about the bill, which was perhaps too expensive considering the location and the very long waiting time.
Pro: very nice location, very nice restaurant, cozy athomsphere, good service. Food: prices are hi-end, so you would expect better food, better presentation. The value for money was disappointing. I think such a great location/athmosphere would need to re-think the value for money: if you charge hi-end prices, food must be above what I experienced. Or if you stay that level, prices, must be lower. It was not bad, just expensive to be simply ok . Personal opinion, so what counts is the average distribution.
I really liked the setting of this restaurant quite romantic, inside a restored cascina with modern elements. We had dinner outside and the lighting of the trees was very suggestive. It 's not a very big restaurant, and that also contributes to a couples friendly atmosphere. As far as the food is concerned, the selection on their menu is not very big, which would be fine except I would have preferred a mix of simpler items, rather than the complicated and over worded plates they presented. The prices are quite high, too. We also came here with a coupon which should have included an appetizer, a risotto and a main course we were told over the phone that the menu had been modified for seasonal availability except, when we got there we were only served an appetizer and a risotto! The main course had been canceled. The food was good and the portions generous, but we didn 't appreciate the manouvre. Overall it 's a nice restaurant, but I 'm not sure I will return.
Locale accogliente! Bella atmosfera! Piatti bellissimi e buonissimi. Abbiamo preso 2 primi e 2 secondi. Il filetto al tartufo e porcini era qualcosa di fenomenale. Torneremo di sicuro!
Locale molto carino sicuramente da riprovare in estate per l'ampio giardino e gli spazi aperti che lo contraddistingue. Bel deor chiuso con lampade per rendere la temperature interna confortevole durante la stagione invernale. Il menù offre portate di mare e terra di ottima qualità sia per la presentazione del piatto che per la qualità dei prodotti. Il filetto con tartufo e foie-gras è una prelibatezza per occhi e gusto, come il primo piatto con il granchio blu per non dimenticare i dolci di una qualità e bontà sublime. Complimenti allo chef e al suo team come il personale di sala, giovane, appassionato e preparato nella presentazione dei piatti e vini. Conto in linea con la qualità della location e qualità dei prodotti. Bella scoperta da provare!
