Brasserie du Commerce - Agde

A very quiet area at this time of year so restaurant was not too busy. Lucy served us and was just such an asset to this establishment she managed to get everything we wanted despite our our total lack of french We had burgers as not had any the whole of our 5 week road trip and they were delicious. We had a sharing dessert and my husband had two carafes of the house red wine which was excellent too. Highly recommend!!

We were getting a little bit worried about where to eat on a recent visit to Agde. It wasn't easy to find somewhere comfortable and friendly but then, by chance, we stumbled across Brasserie Le Commerce. A very friendly welcome and delicious food. I had a lovely salmon and spaghetti dish with a wonderful sauce. My companion had a delicious pizza with goats cheese. The delightful waitress also recommended a lovely local red wine. Nice atmosphere and located near the cathedral and beautiful river. Would certainly visit again and recommend.

We visited on a Thursday in October. A very quiet Agde reflected by a quiet brasserie. We had coffee mid morning and went back for a light (salad) lunch. What made it average was the super welcome and great service from the very friendly lady behind the bar. Would cheerfully go again.

Myself, Husband and teenage Daughter spent a week in Agde and ate here 3 or 4 times for lunch or dinner .Some staff spoke English and we managed with our basic French to order what we wanted. Food and service always very good and generous portions. Choice of pasta, pizza and burger as well as more traditional French food and daily specials. The frites are the best ever, dare I say better than at home!. We stuck with the more familiar options of the pizza, pasta and burger and all were fresh and tasty. Large outside area to sit and eat as well as inside in the restaurant. Or just sit and relax and enjoy a drink outside on a warm evening, and then a stroll by the river.
