I stopped there, because it’s an obvious place to stop, there are not many places to eat on magnificent GC-200. The food was ok. My pork was different to what’s on the picture and not that special after all. But hey! Staff are very friendly. Mix it with sunny weather and great location and you have most of the ingredients. I may even pop in again.

We were on our way to Charco Azul early or more like mid-afternoon, so the best thing was to grab some bocadillos and head on up. We decided on bocadillo de tortilla and another of lomo, some sort of marinated pork steak (probably processed), both with alioli (garlic mayonnaise). They were about €3 each and quite sizeable as I was to find out later. I'd expected the worst from places like this, both in terms of price and quality but nothing of that sort. The tortilla was the winner of the two, not dry like in a lot of bars but nicely moist. The alioli probably helped but it didn't overpower the potato omelette. Service was very friendly too. Recommended! I didn't realise that there were no photos here or I'd have taken some! Next time I go, I'll make sure I do!

Después de una caminata de montaña, entramos a tomar una cerveza fresca y una ensalada rusa rica. la chica muy agradable y muy buen precio. Si vas al charco azul este es el lugar para comer y tomar un aperitivo.

No entiendo las reseñas negativas de este lugar. No soy amigo ni familiar del dueño, simplemente pasaba por ese sitio y me dio por parar. El trato muy bien, aunque al principio te sorprendes por los letreros de vuelvo en 5 min pero eso forma parte del encanto. Los precios que habla la gente no son más caros que en las Palmas por lo que no tiene mucho sentido esas críticas de precios. Yo lo recomendaría a todo el mundo. Eso si, el dueño es un chico/ señor, para mí entender, muy diferente al camarero de un chiringo, pero una vez que hablas con el, es estupendo y te echas unas risas
