Lamb Spit BBQ - Adelaide

For over five years, we've been down here a week on a Friday market night. We knew the business had changed hands and were willing to give the new operators a second attempt, our first experience in the new hands was not pleasant,...because the second attempt. We were disappointed at the standard of the tariff (we choose the combination lamb and chicken yiros plate), while copying was tasteless, with less gilded items and more cost. I'm sorry, but I can't dine here on our next visit to the Central Market.

A great breakfast of sausage, hash brown, bacon and eggs with tomatoes and mushrooms, served with a smile, friendly banter and the best buttered toast you could hope for. Just right for preparing for a day at one of the best markets in the country.

If you are willing to forgo fancy tablecloths and silver service in exchange for delicious Greek cuisine, Lamb Spit BBQ is the place to go. My wife and I enjoyed a plate of yiros with salad and pita bread, and it was excellent. The service was top-notch and the staff were friendly and cheerful.
