Bidra med feedbackThis place just radiates small business charm. It's on a lovely shady corner next to two parks, surrounded by free street parking. The place is quite spacious, and I could easily imagine my former high school self (and group of literary nerd friends) spending hours here. My cappuccino was surprisingly milky (but the espresso in it was good). My apple turnover was doughy and the apple filling wasn't tart enough (not excessively sweet either, just kind of blah). I think their focus is cupcakes, so maybe spend your money on those?
My wife is having surgery tomorrow. I needed to make her feel better. Flowers? Can't eat flowers. Cupcakes always do the trick, and the staff was helpful, friendly, and quirky; exactly what you'd expect from a great cupcakery!
We had our wedding cakes made with Mad Batter. From the tasting experience, all the way through to delivery, execution, and follow through, Nicole was absolutely amazing. She walked us through different options and the benefits of each idea we had, was totally game to work with my sola wood flowers for the first time, and was super sweet and responsive to every email. Not to mention, her cakes were beautiful and DELICIOUS. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their wedding cake options, or any other desserts we pick their cupcakes up all the time for birthdays as well. Their monthly cupcake flavors are divine.
We stopped for cupcakes on my birthday. They were so incredibly good! My favorite was the vanilla with raspberry filling and raspberry buttercream. So flavorful! The filling was tart, the sponge was moist and the buttercream actually tasted of raspberry. Just the perfect bite! Will be back!!
I love the vibe of the bakery, the ambience is really cute! And, it's located right next to Addison park, a great place to walk around :
