I love it! We ordered the two meat comb plates, the brisket and ribbed plate, the fried chicken sandwich and the pork sandwich. Everything was done right and perfectly juicy. Do not miss the creamiest banana pudding and the hot Fudge Brownie Sundae. It was great too. You've got interior and exterior seats now. Great ambience. Definitely recommend.

Love this barbeque!!! You have two locations in the area. The location of the school house is enchanting. I have the chopped pig, Taki has the brisket. I also had the sausage when I wanted something else... loved it too. The Mac and Cheese are heavenly, roasted Okra and Schwieger are also good. Great sauces. Great service.

My favorite barbecue area in the Acworth area! The building is an old school house so it is something dated and creaky, but it doesn't matter to me. The staff is always friendly and good comes super fast. Best green I had in the area!

Mozzarella sticks were easy on place 3 I've ever had in my life! I'm a truck driver and I've eaten many fried cheeses in many places... These were AMAZING! The rest of the food was great, sweet sauce was from this world...

Im OTR trucker I was sitting over the weekend Maretta Georgia. Decide to look up some barbecue places found JD barbecue. Everything was pretty good didn’t have any complaints except My large bright was probably watered down taste like soda water. Service is quick staff is nice they don’t really have any alcohol beverages besides beer You could also order their food on Uber eats or DoorDash which is Great Probably should choose plastic trays instead of paper trays baked beans and greens was leaking out
