The Towne Friar - Acton

This place is so hit and miss. The fish is so heavily battered it's hard to taste. But the fries were day olds. Just disgusting actually. They were totally inedible. SO if you're going to eat here, tell them you want fresh chips and not reheats. Definitely if you're ordering take out, sample the chips before you leave. The price is extortionate. The very least they can do is serve you a decent fried potato. I basically gagged, and then threw them out. They were that dried out. Disappointed.

Fries need to be cooked longer or the heat turned up on the fryer, not sure but he fries are a little on the soggy side. Order them well well done, I get it is a fish and chip shop but it is a little greasier the most other shops. The entire restaurant needs a deep clean desperately.
