Bidra med feedbackGreat food and service. I just wish they had better hours, especially for those who work from 11-7. It would be optimal.
We visited the Butfoyle Antique Market on Saturday morning and decided to take a scenic route back to Toronto. Our journey took us through Acton, where we spotted a chip wagon and decided to give it a try. There was a line, indicating that the wagon was popular among locals and visitors to the nearby farmer's market. Due to COVID-19, the menu was limited and we were disappointed that they did not have their specialty dish, the bohnen. Despite this, the menu still offered classic chip truck fare. The two young boys working the grill seemed more interested in socializing than taking orders, causing a delay in service. I ordered a large poutine, but it looked the same size as the small poutine ordered by someone after me. The poutine was bland and required a lot of salt and pepper, but had plenty of cheese. The onion rings were delicious and my wife enjoyed her hot dog. We sat at picnic tables behind the chip wagon and noticed a large raven nearby, which was interesting but may have unsettled some customers. Overall, our experience was mediocre and we may not return unless the menu expands and the service improves.
After home made fries, pulled pork and the brisket is to die. on Friday fishing on a bungalow is exceptional
The restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed and neglected the customers as they were too busy enjoying themselves and overfilling the food container for a customer on a motorcycle. It was a chaotic experience.
Good home-style burgers and fries. Not mind-blowing food but definitely tasty and a good price point. Nice location for a picnic stop between Guelph and Acton. Lots of fixings on hand and food was quick and piping hot. The onion rings are some of the...best I have ever had, seasoned and battered so no extra salt or sauce needed. Check their Facebook page for hours. Though prices have gone up by 50 cents it is still reasonable.
