True West Brewing Co. - Acton

I really want to love this place. It's not my first time there. Me and my son ordered wings for an appetizer and both got burgers. Wings were good but burgers have no taste and fries were cold. Looked a little understaffed as about 4 tables still had stuff still waiting to be cleaned. Staff is friendly and beer is really good. Didn't have one yesterday, but have in the past. Once again I really want to love this place. But feel they could do a little better.

We are regulars but this time was disappointing. We ordered margaritas which were not as good as usual and tasted a lot like lemonade. Love that they offer the Greek grain bowl, but it was saturated with raw onions and offered little of the other items such as quinoa and garbanzos. Glad we added grilled chicken, nice complement and added food in our plate. Asked for extra garbanzo beans and feta and they generously brought them out.

Excellent food, great service, a little noisy but you could also just say it was high energy. The drinks were on the smaller side, but the quality was great. We will go back again.

My daughters, their significant others, and I took my wife here for a quick Mother 's Day get together. There were seven of us in total, of whom three received meals that were reported as being 'good ', one as being 'not great, but the diner 'just didn 't want to complain ', and three were a total disaster. My wife and I received our lunches so late, that all but one other diners had finished and it seemed obvious that they had been sitting in the window for sometime (cold, impossibly soggy bread, etc. just un edible). The remaining member of our party ordered a vegetarian entre and received a meat based dish instead. (They removed the offending dish, but to our knowledge, never even attempted to remake it). Moreover, one of our three appetizers was not fully cooked. Probably the worst meal we 've had locally in more than a year. The manager graciously comped the meals, but we paid $35 for drinks and (the edible) appetizers. We went somewhere else and ordered takeout after spending more than an hour there. Will be some time before we come back here, if at all. Vegetarian options: Be careful our vegetarian diner received a meat based dish.

Love coming here! The food is delicious and it’s a warm and lively environment. I always make a reservation ahead of time since it’s usually really hopping (excuse the pun)! The staff are incredibly nice as well ?? Parking: There is a free parking lot in the back for all the stores on the street. There are also a few spots right in front. Kid-friendliness: They have their own high chairs for kids. We brought my little nephew and requested the high chair in the reservation. They had it all set up for us by the time we got here, which we really appreciated!
