Bidra med feedbackSalad was fresh, blackened chicken was dry. Bread with dipping oil, was very good. They were great about making a substitution.
They were very friendly and pleasant. Food came out super fast and I have no complaints.
Best Italian food place outside of the North End. Making their own Gemelli puts any dish featuring this on another level. First class service makes this a wonderful dining experience. Price points are very affordable. And the menu is certain to offer your favorites. Tip...mapquest this place as Acton is horrible about signage. This is a quaint restaurant with friendly staff. Ate dinner on Friday 6/23/2023 with two others. We ordered the bruschetta, which I can't recommend enough. The entrees came out piping hot, had excellent flavors, and was perfectly cooked. We ended with coffee that was also very good. The service was slow at times, but it was a Friday night at 7 pm, and there was a large group. Emma was our server and she was excellent at taking care of us. I will definitely be back.
We were looking for a new favorite Italian spot since Paparazzi closed, but we didn't find it today. The server was nice, but everything took so long. A server didn't introduce themselves for almost 10 minutes, and it took 20 minutes before we had drinks. When we tried to order an appetizer, but the server said he had to tell other tables about their specials, and we didn't see him for another 20 minutes. Finally ordered our appetizer and food together, it took 20 minutes to get the app and about 40 to get dinner. The table next to us sat down after we got drinks, and managed to get their food, eat and leave before we got our dinner. The server was very nice, but seemed distracted. When we asked for the check, he said he had to make desserts first. I'll give him some credit, he noticed one of us got marinara sauce on our shirt and he brought napkins, without us asking. He also brought us a coffee for free that he accidentally poured for a different table, no charge. The food was decently priced, the eggplant was good but the veal was tough. All told, we were there for two hours, and it wasn't because we were hanging around. While it wasn't a terrible experience, it just didn't live up to the standard we thought we were getting from other reviews. If you're looking for an Italian restaurant to replace Paparazzi, I'd look elsewhere.
