El Huipil - Acton

We ate here years ago and it was terrific. Now, not so much. The food lacked flavor. Preparation was odd very little sauce on the enchiladas yet they were covered in lettuce. Salad was meh and oddly watery.

Good music, decent eating. an area where improvements are required, they always ensure that they serve perfectly clean dishes.

I really loved this place. something changed for the very regrettable one. I wasn't in a year, and in the rule they went to the Maynard site. but I will not come back; the food was tasteless; not fresh, and the portions were very regrettable. my friend had a big chicken burrito that had more tears and fried beans to fill the whole burrito than anything else, with 3 small stripes huh. for $15, this is totally insulting. I had a $20 plate carne asada, and there were more fried beans than steak, with a dime-size sprinkling of cheese to complete it. the steak was over boiled, dry and tasteless. that is not to say the service was not delightful and the margaritas were not excellent. I can't praise our waitress enough for her friendliness and attention, but that fell, and it fell so hard, I'm gonna stick to the Maynard site from now on.

I never write reviews. Ever. But this was by far the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The food was absolutely disgusting. Everything was flavorless, dry, and a complete mess. Not to mention, downright gross to even chew. My girlfriend and I left feeling sick. It was like dog food served on a platter. Would never recommend anyone ever going here. Bueno y Sano and yes, even Chipotle, are far better than this.

We had a party of nine they accommodated, and from the time we arrived, to the time we left the staff provided amazing service, and equally amazing food. Highly recommend for authentic Mexican fare, and incredible service.
