La Monaldesca - ACQUAPENDENTE

Awesome pizza and wine charta. Had a wonderful time here. Focaccia is cheap but very tasty and large. The benvenuto is great. Even the deepfried food is tasty and light. My favourite dish in the menu is the burger di coda alla vaccinara : a typical dish from Rome that became a pattie for your hamburger, fillef with grilled veggies and homemade mayo. Very Recommende.

I find myself forced to give three stars in spite of myself because the beds in the rooms are terrible, hard and sunken mattresses, old pillows comparable to those of the past full of balls of wool, and even the cleaning leaves something to be desired. In a cube present inside the room a nice pair of dirty socks. Therefore I can say that the service, courtesy and cuisine are 5-star. The chef will leave you speechless with the quality, quantity and accuracy of the dishes.

Stayed at this agriturismo for 2 nights from 31st December. Clean and simple rooms, really excellent dinner and dinner. Farmhouse breakfast with 0 km products. Really helpful staff.

The restaurant is excellent: simple and well-kept environment, excellent cuisine and extreme quality. A few small notes on the stay: practically non-existent wifi and not very clean rooms (the floor in particular). Friendly, professional and attentive to all needs. Absolutely worth the.visit

GENERAL STUFF: A nearby Michelin starred restaurant, La Parolina, manages Monaldesca, and the result is both a budget and palate pleasing joy. LOCATION: The topmost corner of Lazio, between Trevinano, and Allerona. Set in one of the Italian state run parks, with ample parking space. CLIENTELE AND WHEN TO VISIT: Anyone is welcome, and there is no dress code. ATMOSPHERE: This has the feel of being a warm, friendly and very welcoming country hostel DECOR: Wood panelled alpine style dining rooms, with al fresco also an option. FOOD: The positive influence of the excellent management team of La Paolina here at Monaldesca is evident. A short menu, which is exquisitely cooked and presented, any diner would be delighted to have. Nice wines on offer as well. FACILITIES: Super clean bathrooms and dining area. WOULD WE RETURN? Yes.
