Bidra med feedbackOne if the best traditional restaurants in Accra. The menu selection is not the biggest but it's plenty to keep you coming back for a couple months until you sample everything. The quality of food is excellent and very authentic Ghanaian. It's just like Mama would make at home. The service matches the food too with the waiters being very attentive and very happy to explain what the dished are to newcomers like me . Its not the cheapest of local restaurants but then the quality of food you get is worth the bill . The ambiance is fantastic you can easily lose track of time time as you enjoy your meal with friends. I liked it so much its the only place went back to twice in the 3 days I spent in Accra. And I will make it a regular going forward on my trips to Accra.
I loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was cool and relaxed with nice decor. We sat in the air conditioned room and the service was fast. We started off with two delicious coctails from their menu. Then we had dishes from the main menu which were very nice.
There are places where one creates memories. A place with refined taste, one that offers a blend of diversity in display, comfort and delicacies. Buka restaurant is definitely one such place. I relished the cocktail they started me off with, and then came the local cuisines...offering a mouthful of pleasantness. With a mix of locals and foreigners, the atmosphere was one of cool vibes offering a soft appeal. I went there in the evening and yeah, the mellow glow of the lightening was a delight to set me in the proper mood for food, positive vibes and love.
Great place to get local Ghanaian cuisine with a touch of class. It was a bit noisy when I visited, the closest hand washing station wasn't working properly, and it was almost impossible to get a place to park. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening.
The food was so on point! Very cool and lovely ambience. The art all over the premises were very well curated. We really liked it there.
