Bidra med feedbackWe've been coming to Acapulco for years. Today was the first time we visited this restaurant. Carlos the host was great, made some great suggestions. We had starters (caprese salad and octopus salad, very good. The speciality today was sea bass pineapple infused. It was amazing! It was served with a “sticky rice” that had mild coconut in it, around the sea bass was a purée, tasted like apple and pineapple purée sauce, just amazing. We're serious foods. This restaurant has a very talented chef. My men have culinary art degrees, and we both agreed best meal we ever had in Acapulco. We love Zibu Restaurant, but this is gone tonight. ... it's a must try when in Acapulco. Kookaburra is located in La Isla Shopping Centre, not far from Carlos and Charlie. Cost: avg cost of appetizer 130-190 Peso, avg cost of the main dish: 200 to 350 Peso. The service was excellent, the food was amazing. We will definitely come back.
Had a wonderful menu taste of dishes is ingenious The treatment of his personal is friendly prices are sufficient for this type of restaurant
This place was a jewel we were missing. It's in the mall and we passed it several times. We had a great meal there, and if we go back to Acapulco, we'll probably go back. Drinking and service was very... good and there was the choice of wine, which we long for one she went very well with the meal. Mr. Acapulco Roberto Alarcon took us there and it's just a few miles from the Mayan.
This restaurant is located at La Isla mall in the Diamante Area.Menu is eclectic :Includes internatiional cuisine, some steaks, some mexican and italian dishes ,and nothing to do with an Australian restaurant as the place name suggest (kookaburra is a bird from Australia). While looking at the...menu ,the waiter told us that some dishes of the menu were not available. So we ordered a salad, soup and beef carpaccio with parmesan cheese.......food was less than average, parmesan cheese was low quality, our onion soup was just like a canned one and so on.Restaurant decor is nice, with contemporary style and they have a pair of living kookaburra birds in a crystal cage of no more than 6 sq meters area with no sunlight! There are much better options at La Isla mall in the same price range.
We went on business dinner (twice). The service is good average, but we had very nice first course and the shrimps with mole de tamarindo were very good. The ambiance is very nice and the restaurant is well located.
