Bidra med feedbackThis is a basic cafe with generous portions of reasonably priced Ethiopian cuisine. The food is flavorful and not overly spicy. I tried the yesom beyaynetu, a vegan dish served on a traditional Ethiopian bread called "Brot" - a thin fermented pancake topped with lentils, spinach, chickpeas, a vegetable stew, and cauliflower.
I regret not being able to capture a better photo of the vegan injera, but it was absolutely delicious and worth a visit to this restaurant. They offer a variety of options, although I only tried the injera. The atmosphere was cozy and it appeared to be a popular spot. The restaurant was busy, but not overly crowded. The guests were a diverse group of locals and expats. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making it a comfortable place for solo female diners, although this doesn't seem to be an issue in Abu Dhabi anyway.
We brought our children here to eat outside a shopping center or hotels in abu dhabi. the food was great, but there is no tonne environmentally friendly product on the menu. we asked the waitress and she hooked us with a great meal with a tonne sorte. very good, and we will go back! updated by the previous review on Friday, 02 October 2015
The aroma filled the space.
