Bidra med feedbackIt feels like a family owned restaurant, they’re new to the area. I’m not sure if it is. The food was outstanding. The prices are average. There was just a “ regular clientele” feel to the place. I bet a lot of locals eat here on a pretty regular basis. Our server was so sweet and helpful.
Everything was great! Atmosphere, service, food food portions and prices! We will definitely be back (there’s a lot more on the menu we want to try! I highly recommend Vera’s in Abita Springs!Parking: Ample parking in lot on side of restaurant.
Great food, comfortable atmosphere, friendly service.(Blackened Snapper pictured)
Honestly if I could give it zero stars I would. The service was terrible which is a shame since the food was good. Took about 20 minutes to even get drinks which some other girl had to get us drinks because the server that was supposed to come to us never showed. Then another 10-15 minutes for appetizers to get ordered all while the table sat well after us already had all their drinks and food ordered and had received their drinks and appetizers. Then another 10-15 minutes to get entrees ordered maybe longer honestly with our server still nowhere to be found. Never got any drink refills never got any service from our actual server until the end which by the end she just didn’t care about us because she sure was refilling other tables drinks and taking their orders. Sat there and waited for her to take our cash to pay and she was nowhere to be found so gave it to another girl. Wouldn’t return based on the terrible service from this server.
I’m visiting this town and went to Vera’s for a quick lunch. I ordered the lunch menu blackened shrimp tacos with a salad, and I am absolutely full to the top. The lady that waited on us was very attentive and kept our drinks refreshed and was out with our meals very very quickly. Probably the best shrimp I have had in my entire 58 years of life.
