Hashi Teppan Grill - Abilene

Yummy, very simple entree options, nothing complicated. I visit in so often the staff knows my order when they see me on phone caller ID. You pick your protein either Joachim or teriyaki style and choose rice or noodles and get a side of stir fried veggies. They do have egg rolls and other appetizers you can order separately.

Overcooked dry, season less chicken. Sauce is added in small containers (Choice of two) Menu was updated to a better location, but less informative with no prices on menu. White rice was average. Vegetables sitting in the tray looked less than appealing. The Edamame Pea Pods were freshly made, and about average. However the salt distribution inside was less than ideal. Service was quick. Plenty of tables to sit at. I appreciated the ceiling lamps overall branding decor. Simple menu for simple eats.

There are absolutely no prices listed anywhere! Egg rolls are listed under appetizers, which to me an appetizer is a group of people can partake in. Nope, $2.50 for 1 egg roll which is crazy. The only thing that was actually fresh was the meat, which I will say was good and very flavorful. However, I'm pretty sure the noodles were made a couple weeks and reheated numerous times. The veggies were a mix of under cooked and overcooked to the point of soggy. Overall, 1st and last time we will come here!

So the first picture is what their website advertises, and the second picture is what I got. Barely any meat compared to what is advertised. This is the SECOND time this has happened. It’s disappointing, as I like their food. If you eat here, make sure you get what is advertised. Not sure if management is aware of this issue. I will have to strongly reconsider going here again.

Ordered steak and chicken...only got steak. Didn't realize till we got it home. Steak was wayyyyyy over cooked. Protein portions are very small. Had been a while since we had eaten here and definitely regretting going back.
