Il Melograno - Abetone

The steak was tasty and the pasta as well. Homemade dessert topped everything and the house red wine was great. It's a simple and homely place. Enjoyable;

How very disappointed I am to have to write this. We booked a table here for my birthday (Valentine’s Day 2018. After making a trip from the close by Val di Luce ski resort (which required putting chains on the car tyres to make sure we stayed on the road! , we turned up to find the place deserted, lights off, no one home. A contact phone number was left, yet no one had the decency to let us know they weren’t opening (for whatever reason . I totally understand things happen (as another restaurant had phoned us the day before and cancelled on us due to boiler trouble , but one little call, or even a note on the door would’ve been nice. Thanks for letting us down, as we actually ate at a lovely restaurant across the road, who I must say was jam packed with customers.

Me my wife were there for our dinner. It's a snowy day very cold weather.The restaurant atmosphere was very good. It's near to the Abetone city so very easy to find. When we were there we met a pleasant middle age couple who was having their dinner. Suddenly the lady was came and welcomed us. She's the owner of the restaurant.They warmly welcomed us. The restaurant has a great wooden heater in front we were sat there and got little warm. The lady presented their menus and we ordered Radicchio Rossi con ricotta as our antipasti and I had a Tagliatelle al Ragu and my wife had a plate of Ravioli con burro salvia but she wasn't liked that taste. The lady who's the owner suddenly came and asked comments about the dishes we having then we told about the Ravioli she took it very kindly and again prepared a Pasta with pomodoro. My wife was liked it very much. Special thanks for that the lady who was prepared it for my wife. My second dish was very delicious.I still remember the taste of that. It's mouth watering. Then we had a plate of Pollo Arrosto. It's also very delicious we really enjoyed it. It's fairly salted and roasted. In here specially I have to say about the half of house wine I had. It's well prepared one. Finally we had the dessert. A piece of Chocolate cake it's tasty but too much refrigerated. How ever we had a great dinner in our holiday tour for 50euro. It's fair for a couple. Thanks for the couple who was treated us their best.

Restaurant located in the middle of abetone, located a few meters of the pyramids. I suggest that you book especially on weekends. owners available and friendly. ground menu, very homemade. Very well.

To see the pomegranate in place on restaurants leaves me puzzled. I ate in all places best placed in the ranking and the quality of the food I found here is the highest. the price a little higher than the other restaurants I found it justified by the quality of what we ate, meat, mushrooms and vegetables. everything cooked very well. Congratulations
