Gwesty Cymru - Aberystwyth

We cane for the dinner. Really good food and a nice pub atmosphere, a bit pricy, so 4 stats. Would highly recommend the chicken burger.

Very disappointed with our stay last weekend, having stayed there many times over the years expected fat more! Paid extra for Sea view we did have a sea view but it was at street level so not really practical to open curtains to relax and look out!! No phone charger points it is 2023!! The bathroom floor was not very clean, having put my trousers on the floor while getting dressed they were dusty and white when I picked them up!!! Not sure if bathroom tiles were supposed to be crazy paving dryly, if not most were cracked!!! A lot of mildew around the rim if the shower! Breakfast not the most inviting full English/Welsh OR porridge OR bruschetta OR Bap no continental offer — and not included in the price!!! No food offered in the evening!

This is a really nice hotel. Very clean and the staff are so friendly. The room is fantastic and the view is brilliant. We will definitely be coming back.

I stayed at the Gwesty Cymu Hotel this week. The room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. However little things like the lack of a WiFi password, the reception closing at 6 pm, and the fact the restaurant was closed made it a slightly less satisfying experience than it should have been. Add to that the front of the hotel was lit up by floodlights which seeped into the room which was on the front.

Stayed in room 6 with a fabulous sea view. Lovely room great facilities. Lock didn’t work when we went to go out but a locksmith came within 20 minutes and fixed it so very little delay. We didn’t eat here but would recommend the accommodation.
