Moorfield House - Aberdeenshire

We dined at the hotel restaurant several times during our stay and I have to say that the food was delicious. The steaks are a standout and cooked perfectly, showcasing one of Grant's specialties. The portions are generous and left us feeling satisfied and happy. On our second night, I tried the burger and it was one of the best I've ever had. The flavors were fantastic and I was completely satisfied. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to try the ice cream sundae, which is a regret of mine. I highly recommend this restaurant, and please refer to the photos I added to this review for a visual representation of the amazing food we enjoyed.

We were here for bed and breakfast for one night. it is a small family business and the two owners were very friendly and welcoming. there is a large selection of whiskys and gins and a cozy little bar. the room we had was on the...small side, but ideal for a night. the breakfast was freshly prepared and a good choice.

OK for a beer or a coffee. I didn't try to eat. dogs are only allowed in cash. I did not find the owners welcome or friendly as they were busy chatting to another English couple who also owned a similar property. and they discussed the business turnover.

We arrived at 5:30pm on a Friday evening hoping to get food. We were told they would try to fit us in between other customers. It was worth the short wait! My husband had the venison burger, which was amazing and the best he's ever had. I had the veggie pizza, which was just as good. The staff was friendly and accommodated us and our dog in the bar area. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.

I keep coming back to this place and every time I'm blown away by the quality of the food. I loved the breakfast both mornings and both the Steak and chips and the deer that I had were beautiful and generously portioned without being overwhelming....There were a number of other choices on the menu that I look forward to trying out next time.
