Marks Spencer - Aberdeen City

Thank you Marks and Spencer for the self service check outs they are marvellous. All produce great along with staff. I will be shopping there more often due to the change of the check outs.

First time visit since covid. Coffe and bacon roll was really nice both for £4 great value but this offer is not promoted at all got a nice surprise at the till.

Popped into the cafe in Marks and Spencer's in Union Square for a pot of tea with friends. The lady serving was friendly and helpful. The cafe was clean and we had a nice afternoon. My friends enjoyed the fruit scones. We didn't have cakes but they looked lovely.

Stopped into the cafe in Union Square today fir a simple snack. Sourdough toasties, limp and so hot , they’d obviously been done in a microwave. The chips were also inedible for about 10 minutes till they cooled down, microwaved again. I think for the prices they charge for such items they could be made fresh, not too much to ask. The floor area around our table was disgusting, crisps , biscuits, fruit all over it. I asked twice for it to be swept up and both occasions were met with a vacant state as the waiting staff crunched there way over to us! We would have moved but there were no available tables. I made a vow never to return, even for a coffee. They didn’t seem short staffed with the “due to Covid” excuse and we’re all being reminded that hospitality needs us, well they need to up their game. I would have done this review straight to M&S but couldn’t find the area on their website.

It's do noisy, reminds of a factory! When throwing glass bottles in the recycling bin, the staff are probably playing basketball.! And, could you please advice Baristas to empty the portafilter on the plastic bar provided and NOT on the metal part of the tray?
