Himalaya Tandoori - Aberdeen City

Just got back from this lovely restaurant. The staff is very friendly, without being overly attentive. The food is excellent and well-known! We enjoyed appetizers, butter chicken, lamb karachi, pilau rice, and naan - all of which were fantastic! The cobra beer was a nice touch. Big beer with a curry...I hope the locals continue to support this place, as it is definitely a high-quality restaurant with reasonable prices. We will definitely be returning!

We were searching for a Chinese restaurant that was unfortunately closed. The food was delicious and we plan to return.

This was our first experience dining at a Nepalese restaurant. We went with friends on a busy Friday night, but the restaurant itself was quiet. The decor was a bit outdated, but the seating was comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, which exceeded our initial expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed crispy poppadums with delicious sauces while we looked over the menu. The starters, including wobbly baji and momo dumplings, were beautifully presented and received excellent reviews. The main courses, such as the lamb curry and accompanying rice and naan bread, did not disappoint. Some of us had space for a refreshing lemon sorbet for dessert. The house wine was good, and we appreciated the hot towels, chocolate, and fresh orange segments at the end of the meal. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends.
