Brewers Fayre Tirfounder Fields

This venue has improved a lot over the last few years. We did stop going due to poor service and cold food. The last few visits have been excellent and we have already booked for Christmas Day. Well done team especially dai Davies incharge of kitchen

Staff are nice, place looks clean and nice enough. But the food was basic at best and over priced. 18 quid for a mixed grill that was small and inferior to all the competitors in the area in price and quality. Plus, both our orders were wrong. Missing items, wrong meal etc. Rectified quickly mind you. This was all at just passed 12 so it was quiet. so no excuses for the mishaps as far as I'm concerned. Won't be coming back when harvester and even wetherspoons are better.

Bar staff had a couldn't be bothered attitude. There was a member of staff not in uniform who also seemed that she couldn't be bothered. Was sat down at a table complaining about having to clean it when we arrived. Half the menu was of as they didn't have any. Food was over cooked when arrived. Mine had an ant crawling over it and my wife had a hair in hers. Didn't get the side dishes we ordered. No apology when I took the food back to the bar. Our son was sick when he got home to. All in all a terrible experience and we won't be going back.

Had dinner (Sunday) and breakfast (Monday) here while staying at the Premier Inn next door in August. No problems getting a table for our group of 6. Food was nice and the restaurant was clean and comfortable. Staff were also friendly. Great place to grab a bite and a drink if you're staying nearby.

Visited with my wife and son while staying nearby. Of the three choices we made from the menu two were unavailable so had to choose other options. My choice of beer was also not available. Food was fine when it arrived although my wife thought the scampi portion a bit small and no tartare sauce available. Family on the table next to ours were also having problems with wrong orders being delivered. Serving staff not particularly helpful one woman appeared to spend pretty much all the time we were there laying cutlery on tables, presumably for breakfast next day. Can't really recommend this place.
