Retreat Hotel - Abbotsford

This cozy local pub has a great atmosphere with two fireplaces, a selection of craft beers, and delicious food. The Sunday roast featured a giant portion of crispy pork crackling, which was excellent. The kids enjoyed the pizzas as well. Be sure to call ahead to reserve a table, as the service is very friendly.

The staff at this restaurant is wonderful, and their job is made easier by the fact that all the customers appear to be regulars who are enjoying themselves. This was my first visit, and I am disappointed that I live in a different country because this place would definitely be my go-to spot. The prices are comparable to other restaurants, so they are not too high but not particularly cheap either. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant makes up for it.

The employees at this pub are truly amazing and will go above and beyond to make sure their guests have a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is great, and the selection of beer and food is top-notch.

Reduce the price of a pint of black to $12 and it'll be absolutely perfect. Nah in all seriousness it's a proper pub.

Love this pub. Awesome staff and the Chicken Parma and chips meal was delicious. Dog friendly venue. If you're there on a Sunday, get the Sunday roast meal... Absolutely delicious! One of my fave places to go when I'm in Melbourne
