On the main square in Abbeville, it's a small local bar. Smart inside but probably does more business in the spring. There were lots of chairs outside ready for the spring. Although the sky is blue, no takers in January.

We visited Bar du Commerce with friends for lunch. The service was swift and good humoured, the food was hot and tasty.

We stopped off in Abeville as part of a tour of the Somme region and to visit the Communal Cemetery. We were looking for somewhere to enjoy coffeee and cake and really struggled to find somewhere until we came across the Bar du Commerce tucked...away in a small row of shops on the main square in Abbeyville. We were soon made very welcome and served coffee and delicious apple pie (which was warmed) with cream. There was a lovely atmosphere with a variety of people of all ages seated around and chatting at the bar. The service was first classs and the place was spotlessly clean as were the toilets.
