Shucks! - Abbeville

Excellent meal of shrimp, oysters, catfish, seafood gumbo and salad. Generous portions, outstanding service. If you go to Abbeville, definitely stop here for lunch or dinner.

Always good food. One of our most frequently visited places.

Raw oysters were 5 star. Fresh excellent taste and no broken shells. A “baker's dozen”. Balance of the meal was disappointing. Fried shrimp were room temperature, over cooked and tough. Patoto salad was perfect. Crab cake was underseasoned with too much garlic and slightly warm. Sweet potato fries were room temp. Our table was outside. Great food, good atmosphere. Price not cheap. Bread pudding best ever.

Not great food small portions way overpriced. Brought my date the wrong order and took her utensils. Steak was overcooked and very tough. Restaurant was slow at the time took quite a while to get our food. Sea food was clearly frozen and refried. Overall great if you want way overpriced crummy food. Would not recommend. Nice staff though.
