The staff are warm welcoming and knowledgable about the food and drink they serve. The dishes are simply described, but what arrives on your plate... WOW! Every single bite (and I do mean every single bite) is ataste explosion and journey. Everything is perfectly seasoned, and sent out of the kitchen with care and attention. The front of house chefs are so highly skilled with a high level of precision and eye for detail. Vi glæder os til at se dig på Møf, hvor du havner midt i vores kærlighed til mad. We look forward to seeing you in Møf, where you land in the middle of our love of food. I can not agree more. After having the opportunity to talk with Kristine throughout our evening, you only have to talk with her for a short time to see the love, passion, pride, and a host of other emotions in her eyes when she is talking about her restaurant and food. In regard to price. I have read some comments saying that it was a bit pricey, but I honestly believe that it is great value for money.
Absolutely phenomenal spot for a fine dining experience without the typical expenses coming with it. Great food; even better sommelier. The sommelier really knows what they’re talking about and bring it with a very personal flair. The wines are all natural wines, which limit the options, yet the pairings are very well matched regardless. If I have to name a minus, it’s the view/location. If your company is enticing enough, that doesn’t have to be a detractor to the experience. 10/10 recommendation
In the menu there was only one vegetarian starter. When we got in I asked if they had any vegetarian main dish, they told me they 'd make something. I got the veg starter that was on the menu: raw zucchini with some kind of zucchini babaganoush . Not bad but very disappointing. The main dish I got was basically a salad made of lettuce, tomatoes and zucchini with a lot of dressing sauce. Therefore, I wouldn 't suggest going there if you are vegetarian or vegan (or go if you wish to eat an overpriced salad). My boyfriend got a fish starter and main dish of fish,he said those were ok but disappointing. I wouldn 't go again and I wouldn 't suggest going. The three dots are for the effort in proposing a veg dish off menu and for the staff members, who were nice and polite.
This is currently my favourite restaurant in Aarhus. The interior was very charming and it had a homely atmosphere. The food was magnificent and the service was friendly. Each dish that came was exceptionally put together and a delight of flavours. The wine accompaniment was also exquisite. You really get what you pay for. I would highly recommend.
It is a bummer that there is no mention of vegetarian/vegan options on the website. However, we asked before visiting and luckily were able to order a vegetarian option for me. I was a little disappointed though, as some of the courses just didn't have any meat or fish in them for me and it wasn't replaced with another ingredient. It wouldn't have to be complicated (something made of tofu, chickpeas and so on) and it would have made a huge difference for me. Especially because the price was of course the same. Other than that, the flavors and the overall experience was really good.
