I left algarve despite superbock and vinho verde quite intimidating and looking forward to the upcoming trip to the hamburger portugiesenparadies. the price-performance ratio in algarve does not drive one to the city edge and remains with three stars. the good paper form refers to the map of the algarve that I had read with increasing expectations on the homepage Algarve restaurant. de service: a slightly older man I explained here to the host and a younger woman supplied the guests. both friendly and to watch some tables in the chat. my Super Bock bottle beer for 2,40 € was offered to me with and without glass (typically this is from the bottle; then I also made a pretty flat beer on the jeverzunge. but it came fast and also the following two quarters of white vinho verdes stood flott on the table. the wine refreshing moussing and almost cold. with €4.20 for the quarter already very inexpensive. the liter water for 4,40 € (still or 4,80 € (medium by map in net). but this is no longer up-to-date and at least a strong price increase was given: superbock from €2.00 to €2.40 and the quarter wein from €3.60 to €4.20. my order was well suited from the intervals of the order. Eat: also for the menu, the card in the restaurant has higher prices than the one on the homepage and also from the feed offer contains small deviations. it is expected that it will be fish, shrimps/gambas and ink fish. a first disappointment then immediately: the ordered fish soup was “out”. she quickly looked at the tapas side and the sardine paste (1.60 € and the grilled chorizo (5,00 € selected as a replacement player). I admit I was on the price for the sardine paste. the clearing followed: on a teller a small, packed finished product, as one finds it from the type and size of the packaging in two star hotels on the “breakfast” as a carefree form. at least they do not have to suspect when they get an industrial product. P.S as well as correctly commented, it was still spun! unpleasant the oil drops that had deposited on the paste and best lubricate only the fingers when opening. the paste was strongly fishy in the positive sense. maybe two teaspoons could be applied on the included white brot (fresh, crispy crust). apropos brot and dip: aioli I did not discover on the map. (small tipp for friends of the aioli: the product of the brand chovi that they get in the cool regals of all large retail chains, beats everything they thought in the last few years – the porto in hamburg and a Spanish in the Belgian quarter in köln – as aioli during cutting and portugiesen well. from the spicy good salt and rather little paprika. dominant from the composition of the spicy mass were coarse pieces of fat. You can't be innocent until and so moderately the tapas. the specificity of the house are according to the map of the dishes in cataplana, of which I order this with pulpe for 18,00 € and that everyone should go. so attraktiw is the description of preparation on the map. the many ingredients such as choorizo, taub, paprika, olive and seasoned like Piri-Piri, garlic and laurel, tomato and white wine and finally coriander should put a highly aromatic base for the inlay and the salt potatoes above. at the chef, this promise was probably forgotten. in the light ally tomato sauce were found only tweepers, paprika and a few green slices. in the result very low and disappointing my expectations. remarkablely, many Otopus pieces were covered from the rather small sintered cracks of the sose. for the saturation delivered some half salt potatoes. in closed cataplana the plentiful court was very hot on the table. in cross comparison, eating was only medium and is sufficiently appreciated with three stars. ambiente: they enter a gloomy theken room, which reminds of a pub and in which the cigarette quart of many decades in the nase, which is forever in the room, immediately rises. but not served here. left through a door, it goes to the dining room where the tables are spacious and open. on them blue-white-carded tablecloths with simple paper sets. on the floor large reddish flow. deko consists of bambus under the deck, a fishing net, print with Portuguese motives and mirror on the walls. such a simple tavern interieur that will have a few years on the ice. cleanliness: I had nothing to write negatiw. the toilets are generously dimensioned and clean.
Not only the attentive local staff was the absolute bestseller during my visit, but also the large climate. the seats are very cozy and the distance between the tables I find especially reasonable. there they get absolutely not the feeling of the dining room gurken on the evening. we also find the prices absolutely ok.

Very good Portuguese food. Beautiful and simple atmosphere, very friendly service. Not necessarily cheap, but really good.
