Im Alten Zollhaus Inh. David Pyras

We came by chance through the customs house and arrived there. The restaurant is quite rustic inside. The map offers good bourgeois cuisine at fair prices. The service was very friendly and nice. We were served very quickly and didn't have to wait long for dinner. Salad and carving were very tasty, the portions were also very good.

My parents visited me in Aachen and since the “Alte Zollhaus” lies directly near the station, we went to dinner right after their arrival. We had all the carvings that were really delicious. The pommes were very greedy and spicy, really good. I found the prices quite reasonable and the service was friendly and fast.

The “Alte Zollhaus” is located in Aachen am Marschiertor, close to the main railway station. The map offers from salads to carvings, grilled, Argentine beef from grill to self-made pommes. The pommes were always very tasty and also the carving variations. The carvings are also fried and not fried.

The “old customs house” is a good bourgeois restaurant at the Marschiertor. The Schnitzel (they call themselves: Schnitzelmanufaktur am Marschirtor) are really very tasty, the Pommes made home. There are also a variety of different beers from the barrel. I like going with my parents there. You will always be kindly greeted and feel welcome. We've spent very nice evenings here.
