Tokyo Tavern is hands-down the best Sushi Restaraunt in Dutchess County…and maybe even the entire Hudson Valley. I lived in Manhattan for 20 years, and I can say with confidence that Tokyo Tavern bests 95% of the sushi restaurants in NYC. So being the best in the Hudson Valley is actually a layup in that context! I have been to Japan, and Tokyo Tavern holds its own even amongst the best sushi restaurants in Tokyo and Kyoto.
