Pulperia O Fiuza - A Coruña

We have been visiting this local restaurant for a dew years now on our visits to La Coruna. Lovely food, excellent wines and great service. Well worth finding just a short walk from Plaza Espana.

We had a lunch in this restaurant and we had exactly what we searched to have tapas. Tipical tapas restaurant and service pretty nice.

Excellent food for locals at local price. No frills. No luxury. Octopus, empanada and pimientos de padrón.

My brother and I went to this pulperia because our host had so recommended and it was close to the Torre de Hércules. What a place! It's not the typical fancy, cool restaurant but it is the place where you can find great food (specially octopus). We were waiting for them to bring us the menu (as if we were fool tourists) when the waitress came and told us there's no menu because this is what they offer: octopus, cheese and green peppers. Not a place for tourists, which is always a good sign. We loved the local atmosphere. Try peppers and octopus with estrella (Galician beer), you won't regret it!!
