Fǔ たけうどん Lóng Wáng Diàn

Visited Kansai Delicious Food Walk on September 23, 2021 for lunch at Mitsui Outlet Park Shiga Ryuo with my wife on a holiday. We stopped by Kamatake Udon, which is located in the food court inside the outlet park. It was pretty crowded, so we secured a seat first and then my wife went to buy our food. We had a strategy of each picking our favorite dish to share. My wife chose the udon, which was not only firm but also smooth and chewy with a gummy texture that was delicious. The broth was also tasty. Thank you for the meal.

I visited Kama Take Udon for the first time while shopping for myself at the Ryuo outlet for Ralph Lauren clothes and my wife’s clothes, as well as Sylvanian Families toys for my children. The noodles were thick with little chewiness, similar to Osaka udon rather than the chewy texture of Sanuki udon that I prefer. However, I was satisfied with the meat udon broth, half-cooked egg tempura, and pickled ginger tempura. My 2-year-old daughter seemed to enjoy her kitsune udon. I think this udon is easy to eat for small children, so I would recommend it to those with young kids. When visiting the outlet, I recommend arriving 30 minutes to an hour before opening as the nearby parking lot is less crowded. We arrived an hour early this time and were first in line.
