カフェ Xiào Mèng - 亘理町

An elderly couple serves dishes with care at this restaurant. The small plate dishes are geared towards women. It seemed like local ladies were present. All the dishes were handcrafted and delicious. Even cake was included for dessert. We were with children, but since there were a lot of vegetables and not really kid-friendly options, they kindly offered us a cheese hamburger instead. We were impressed by their exceptional hospitality. Thank you very much. We even received rice crackers as a souvenir. And all of this for only 1200 yen! Such a great deal.

The restaurant only offered lunch and cafe menus, but the lunch plate was lined with 12 beautifully colorful and delicious dishes. I enjoyed every single one of them. The service was also excellent, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Second visit in April 2022. This time I ordered the lunch set with dishes made from spring ingredients. I definitely want to try the herring roe rice next time. I ordered the lunch set with coffee and a mini cake for 1200 yen including tax. The dishes served in cute dishes were all delicious and I enjoyed trying to decide which one to eat first! The food was delicious, the dishes were cute and lovely, and the mealtime was enjoyable! The crab soup was very luxurious with a half crab in it! It was delicious with lots of meat in it! I can't wait to come back next time to try the herring roe rice!

土日だけ、ご夫婦で営業しています。 ランチは1000円です。200円でコーヒーとミニデザートが付きます。 小鉢が沢山付き、身体に優しい、ランチがいただけます。とても美味しいです。
